The Circle of obtuse

Obtuse surrounds by picket fence
Hence the prepense of pretense
To go beyond a mind must wield
An abstract of another field

The paths are endless you may tread
The real or the fancy of your head
However the path it is a goal
A door that opens to your soul

It is there the verdant grows
Your field of green the path you chose
The mast that holds your sails domain
Your field of food your sweet of sane

It is an Island in the sun
A residence of only one
It holds the reason and the deed
It is the life’s blood of the need

So eat your bowls humility
And walk your path of destiny

I see you've had your bowl of wisdom rice this morn *L*

One of the things I have always loved most about your poetry is the lessons in both humanity and humility.

Added to your gift of rhyme and imagery,
of vocabulary and word play...and all the many wonders of your impressive pen, and what we end up with is a poetic prophet who flies on a handsome dragon

Sy...

where DO you pack
all of your wisdom?

Every day, we are pleasured with treasures...

every day.

So very true... *S*

If your wisdom rice is available in stores, please let me know where I might purchase some... if it isn't, I'll keep nibbling from your plate. *S*

I very much enjoyed, Seymour. *S*
