You tried to steal my heart
but instead you stole my face
You told me lies
You told me tales
But you failed and
Stole my picture

I have my dignity
I have my pride
You have a faded photograph
A memory of things never to be

My heart is safe
My virtue intack
You are a healing sore
So keep my photograph as
A reminder of what you missed
I have my mirror
To see my beautiful face
