A man of peace and honour
A gentleman on and off the screen
The star of To Kill A Mockingbird
The finest movie I've ever seen

The perfect father figure
A man of dignity and grace
So very gentle and sincere
You had the kindest face

I shed some quiet tears
When I heard the news today
You will never be forgotten
Within our hearts you'll always stay

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

I hadn't heard the news Sue..
What a kind and loving man he was.
And a very fine actor.
The film industry as well as the general public has suffered a great loss.

He was one of the greatest actors and he is a distant relative of my sister-in-law's family. Great poem.

The passing of a Giant Legend. Sorrow fills the hearts of so many and no one will ever replace Atticus.

Thank you Sue for writing these words of tribute to a great actor.

(big hugggsssssssss) So far this year we have lost two of the most wonderful "gentlemen" in entertainment history, him and Mr. Rogers! (wipes tears) Gregory was a wonderful person and "To Kill A Mockingbird" is one of my top ten favorite movies ever! (I watched it again after I heard the news) (sigh) Your wonderful poem speaks of all he is, dearest friend, God Bless You, I only hope we can get some more "gentlemen" in the coming years with his spirit and charisma, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

He had always been one of my old-time favorites! --and oh, that voice!--Those penetrating eyes!

I am sure that he would have loved your poem! In fact, he probably DOES love your poem!
