where the wild flowers grow

You who writes so smoothly upon my icey chest.
You who draws snow angels upon my breast.
You lied.
I tried to erase you,
but even if it isn't visual,
it's optical.

On my body,
you who used me as a canvas,
will never disappear.
Like the quiet words that came from my
withered lips and stopped just
before your ear.

You say things void of meaning,
you describe how I've been feeling.
Cold canvas, I'm not
really even here, anymore.
To tell
you who manipulates my skin to
climb up into my passion.

~Sigh~ Loved this.

You made a small spelling error in the first line though. Icey is spelled icy, I think...?

Anyways, this is very very very good.

I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man.

"but even if it isn't visual,

I loved that line.

And so true ... out of sight ... is not out of mind.  But ohhhh how a broken heart wishes it were true.
