Walls of Jericho

Onward ye warriors,
To the city wall,
Take up the mighty arms,
And sound out the bugle’s call

We are the ones to purge the evil
That has set into this place,
The tyrannical man on the throne
Cares nothing for the race

That he rules over,
So no he must die,
So onward ye soldiers,
Purge the world of his lie

Swords and axes fly tonight,
Houses fall into a blanket of fire,
Blood, death and malice
Form the pinnacle of this pile.

Strong we warriors be,
But yet still the walls remain,
Evil fights back
And rains death on this plain

Cannons pound and rocks take flight,
Soldiers battle beneath and on the walls,
Yet they still remain after all this time,
And from bodies bloody rain falls

Heroes and villains her at war,
But now the time grows short,
Many have died all in the name
Of this evil that we must thwart.

We call upon you god,
To deliver unto thee,
Grants us what we desire,
To help make this land free.

In my hand befell a golden bugle,
Light shined from within,
What sort of weapon be this thing?
How can music conquer sin?

Fearful and doubting,
Into the horn my breath does blast,
Deafening roars of the god himself,
Attacks the walls and they crack fast.

Astonished we are as the cracks widen,
The tight wall begins to fall,
Evil soldiers panicked and crying,
Give up their lives on that wall.

To Jericho, this song be for you,
I blast the song out joyfully,
Victory is now ours,
As the walls fall into eternity.

We soldiers rush the tyrant,
And offer his life to the lord,
At the same time the men attack,
His evil and savage horde.

I blast the bugle to heaven,
Light falls upon the ground,
The bugle flies from my grasp,
Into the sky with no sound.

Rubble surrounds this place,
To an uncorrupted land we go,
And leave behind the blood and slaughter,
Beneath the walls of Jericho.
