She spread her wings, so tender and light
Wrapping me in her warmth,
Her heavenly eyes gazed into my own
And calmness flooded through my soul

Her voice echoed through my veins
Flowing towards my heart like blood
Slowly pumped away to my mind
Filling me with thoughts of love

I felt myself floating up towards the skies
As she guided me towards heavens gates
Not worried about the world below
Feeling safe in the presence of this angel

Suddenly I began to sink down again
Not knowing why I fell from her
As I watched her fly on towards the light
Her voice called back its not your time
