Moved from a shack to a barn

Just look at you now
John Bone

Woven into your embroidered past
Held fast by the stitches of history
Moved, to pluck and pull
At the beads of your misdeeds

See how you struggle
Poor fellow

Against the ropes that you’ve braided
To chance a last dance with amour
Too eager to unravel
Knots of your own devising

They are, after all, your knots

Are they not?
Old fool

We make and unmake our lives...sometimes the tangle is hard, but for love, even when old, worth it!

As always you write edgy truth...and make it charming.

Isn't it just amazing how tight we tie those knots?

How many of these old Bones
do we know?

Far too many...
woven rugs on their scalp
pretty loafers
that can't dance...

ah Wranx.

Fool or not, I'll struggle, unravel... even clip a few threads... for the dance is worth it. *S*

Excellent write! *S*

Those knots bring to mind a noose, and
I'm not about to hang myself, although I've come close a time or two. A slip knot makes for a nice effect but it doesn't hold much weight.

Love your work wranx~
