I Speak to the Wind

I speak to the wind in regret
I’ve lost the set of minds abet
There is a rile that’s hung my smile
Charging like a young beguile

A sprig of green beyond my mean
A laurel on my head is seen
A twinkle in an aged eye
A thing it seems not said goodbye.

It titillates a branch of care
A thought gone by my set of dare
It oscillates a let of frame
And I know not from whence it came

But God the thrill has set my quill
To dance upon a page of frill
To emulate a state of grace
To adulate an angels face

And I in humble poets rhyme
Play the fool of another time.

I'm always amazed at the vocabulary in your writing. There are so many words I've never heard, which would be so fun to play with in rhyme, if only I could remember some of them.

(sigh) If you can interpret the wind, then you can well interpret the waters and thunder too as it all seems to have a voice of its own too only written from the delicate womb of Mother Nature! (big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
