Having gotten back from Buffalo, Iíve just thought to check on my hasty pre-trip posting and I can now see that Iíve inadvertently spread confusion rather than enlightenment. My mistake. I am very sorry.

What follows is a prose poem by Darcie Dennigan ó she is "the woman who has my vote" for seeing the whole election in terms of language and poetry. The poem is, for me, a wonderful, wacky, witty critique of the the entire political process seen from the literary point of view. That's why I put it in Philosophy, Stephen; because it's Lit Crit; and because it stands back from the entire political process and tries to look at it with some humor from the point of view of Ultimate sorts of issues.
Of course, It's entirely possible that anybody and everybody would disagree with me, or, as it turns out, I would in my rush before my trip to Buffalo, fail to make myself clear enough for anybody to have some fun with a wonderful piece of poetry and with a woman who seems like a wonderful new talent, and well worth following, in my humble opinion. Those would be alternative possibilities that I might have taken into account, should have taken into account, actually, and didnít.
Sorry for taking so long to get back to people, and I have high hopes that my friends here will enjoy Ms. Dennigan as much as I do. She's really something and somebody special, I think. And I hope some consideration might allow folks here to agree.
