Any teleological argument supporting the existence of god assumes the existence of god, a sentient force, as a source of order and of purpose, as the base of the argument.
That's because order and purpose, as we know it in practical terms, always comes from intelligence. This is inference to the best explanation, though not a syllogism, as Brad pointed out.
(But I've got one question, if this is about the Teleological Argument for God's existence- There's already a thread for that, so why this and not just a reply?)
