In jewish religion, A boy becomes a man by the age of 13. But im not jewish and some men. Think masculenalty is judged by strenght and physical "features". But i don't see it like that i see that when u become a man when your able to keep your cool while being able to make a good judgement. how many of you guys agree on this? or am i just thinking differently than others?? And im just curious. just to see what everybody thinks. =] XxZachXx |

"Rites of Passage" are not exclusively Jewish. But I don't think that their purpose is to declare maturity as much as to commence a journey ... or bring about an awareness of the goal. It's kind of like saying this: "Physically you are becoming a man, now let this solemn ritual urge you to become one also mentally, socially, and spiritually. " It is a ritual of becoming rather than arriving. Stephen |
