Jack bought some ice Cream bars. He learned that it is not good to his health if  he eats a lot. So he made a decision. which one? if he takes "self-interest" first.

1. Throw it away
2. feed to his pets
3. give to others
4. sale to others

And does he need to tell others about the bad information of eating Ice cream?

eat one, put the box in the freezer.  Wait 5 days eat another one, put the box in the freezer... etc ...

all things in moderation.

Of course you could also share it with others, in which case there would be another principle besides self-interest at work.

Hi Drauntz.  Jack should forget the food police and eat'em.

This from Fitzgerald's "The Rubdiyat of Omar Khayyam"

"Then, to the lip of this poor earthern Urn
I leaned, the Secret of my Life to learn:
And Lip to Lip it murmmured-- "While you live,
Drink!-- for, once dead, you never shall return."

That's a self interest which comes under "none of the above."
