A different shape, a different name,
But variations of the same.

But Essorant, don't you believe (philosophically) that everything is a variation of the same?  In which case, this unity of yours couldn't possibly rule out great differences ... since it applies to everything from polecats to potatoes.  I'm just thinking about things you've said in the past.

Stephanos,

Absolutely.  I wasn't trying to suggest an absence of great differences.  But I think those "great" become rather small in comparison to differences between things such as polecats and potatoes   But also, even just in comparison to any two individuals of either gender that may have very different personalities.  For which spiritual differences or similarities are there that a man and woman can have, that a man and man or a woman and woman can't also have?
