She was one of my favorite columnists. I used to search the alternet pages for a new one and was always disappointed when we were stuck with the other guys. Sometimes, I would think of some silly comment, open her thing, and she'd already said it.

As far as American liberalism is concerned, I can't think of a better representative for what it's really all about than this woman.

I'm going to miss her.

Me, too, Brad.  Not because she was a liberal.  Not because she was a woman.  Not because she lived in Texas.

Because she was tried, tired and true.  She still spoke what a lot of us just "thought".

What was great about Molly Ivans?  

She dared to tilt at windmills.

Agreeing with you Brad.I will also miss her. But I dubbed Serenity my Molly Ivins. I hope she is listening to me.. martyjo
