If reality were itself subjectively created, rather than merely subjectively perceived, how could you avoid a kind of solipsism, or even nihilism as your conclusion?

If we think too much without drinking from the source well and faithfully enough, we will corrupt the taste of reality; if we think too little we will forget about much of it, therefore, right in the middle is probably the best place; but since as we humans always seem to yet think, never just know or just feel, we  face having to take the indirect - the "subjective" - passage to reality and truth, facing burdenthoughts,  having to put them in order to meet reality better, and trusting that they do "meet" reality.  We never know or feel for sure, so it is still subjective.  No matter how close we get, we are still some length away because we must think about it.
It is like a draw bridge that never makes it all the way to the other side, - but that doesn't mean we ought to give up trying to get it there
