Ok I feel like creating choas and arguements and disruption

Question: 50 years before this century or millenium people had visions that there was going to be a lot of spaceships and flying saurers by the year 2000. Even tho that didn't work out I would like to know what will be the future of invention or poltics, anything you like by the year 2100 or 3000?

I think there will eventully be space elevators from here to mars and our moons we be conlanised.

What do you reckon?

If your afraid of the dark, then why did you come?

I reckon we'll all be dead, and a good deal of the rest of life on the planet with us.

The easy answer is to say that life will be a mix between Star Trek and the Jetsons... My personal belief is that it WILL be a mix of Star Trek and the Jetsons WITH some significant changes.
I firmly sense that this planet is heading for an ecological melt down of epic proportions.. not the asteroid, but something much more sinister. Whatever this is going to be, it is going to take a great amount of the life on this planet with it, and leave us in a bit of a Dark Age, for lack of a better phrase.
Eventually, the planet is going to straighten itself out, and the technology will begin again... hopefully with people who are wiser and a little better able to handle the responsibilities. And maybe they'll have a bit of help.
Those are my thioughts anyhow.

We are all equal but we’re individually different

Krawdad nice outlook, but i reckon if we all die there would be somthing to replace us eventully.

Ringo I think star trek is a bit primative it won't happen like in the 50's everyone thought ppl will be wearing what I call tin foil suits.

Which is

If your afraid of the dark, then why did you come?

I'm thinking that, by then, the Second Coming will have already taken place and Earth (as we know it) will not exist...it'll all be new :-)

...now how's that for creating argument? hehe LOL

There are numerous possibilities, but I believe the history of the earth's natural changes (with our assistance) will cycle through once again, leaving mankind either wiped-out or into a Dark Age.

I doubt the earth will even be here.  But just for the sake of sake lol, lets say we are here.  I think a bunch of young talented poets will be in some poetry chat room disscusing what life will be like in the year 5000. lol

Even though I'm not that much of a sciencefiction or technology oriented kind of person I have alway enjoyed and appreciated the idea of teleportation.  Consider how much reduction of wastes and vehicles, toils, and disparity, would arrive to the world if a good teleportation medium were created that allowed beings to take them or deliver objects at the speed of light (?) on an invisible energy "line" to set destinations.  It would no longer ache to live far away from a relative if you could travel to where they are any time, from your own house! Or to see internet friends, or to take a school field trips.  We could put a teleportation portal in the poor countries and in snap of the fingers we could send them food and water and clothes or any household item generously.  I think it would be a saving to all the world.  If man created teleportation or something that would be so effective, I would never doubt Man or technology again.  Perhaps it is all too dreamy.  But in the back of my mind I still have a hope something like could possibly come about.
