I submitted a poem last week called" What is your forever". I was really happy because it got some great replies. I've been thinking alot lately about the meaning of forever. Partly because of my current relationship (actually all because of) And I would love to hear your thoughts on the significance of forever. Like is it not simply a momentary thing? Does forever actually lasts forever? What is your explanation of forever?

please reply...
mia

I love you forever
until the next forever
that I hope
will again be
with you

I guess you could say forever was like a bottomless pit. I also think that only somethings last forever and some have to change. I just wish i knew what does last forever.

How you view forever is dictated by your belief of eternity. Do you believe we have life after death? If so, for you forever is everlasting. IF you believe this life is all there is then for you forever is until death- Or until you are proven wrong!

just a few quotes for you mia..

"My prince the stars have
fallen from your crown
And I can not fathom
their fading-
some things should be forever!"

"Let's pretend that forever
is a word known not only to the heart"

Those are from two different Jewel Kilcher poems, both copyright 1998

Forever. Such an interesting idea. How long does forever last? I would hazzard a guess that it lasts as long as we do.

Are we destined to be eternal? Physically no. Spiritually? Mentally? No one can honestly say such for a fact (some may believe with all their heart and that is truth enough you might say). If we are destined to be eternal, then forever has no meaning. If we do have a shelf life, so to speak, then forever is as long as we will be.

Fiona Apple says "Never is a promise..." In the same sense so is forever. As long as it lasts, as long as it is, it is a promise. In this case, a promise from one person to the other.

Oh Mia... Forever lasts as long as you want it to... If you want this relashionship to last, you know what you need to do. ) Forever is a simple word describing a life long wish that can make you happy.

"I want to be alone away from love..."
