millions are dieing to get in
and i just want to get out
i took the train past oblivion
and i never want to get out
I'm tired of living like a dog with no bone
I'm tired of having health and a home
when I know there are billions
starving and crying
while I rest in my bed
a cold child dawns the ground dieing
his mother too lost in herself
to help the child who's stomach has swelled
too many people too many people
get me out of this world
someone take my place
because If can't save them all
then I don't want to live in grace
a child of no color
in family of three, middle class and unhappy
but while I complain about yesterday's rain
a child in the sand squeezes the life out of a grain
a grain of sand hoping to drain
a tiny bit of water from the sand which catches no rain
no poetic ending or happy defeat
this child will die cold, crying with cut feet
so why can't i do anything at all
why can't i accept my good fortune and just forget about it all
just go on with my life without a care to befall
my uncolored white head, the evil of man
i hate being put above when I am no better than any man
so what do I do........what can I do
someone agree with me
let me no I'm not alone
In this fight against this unholy throne

Nice.. How long does it take you to write a poem like this, Chris-? I thought it was good, reminds me of my writing awhile back ago. You have wonderful potential. And this poem is awesome, seems like a struggle, though..between rambling and saying how you really feel.
