The petals in pink and yellow lovely hue
Rubbed my hands and turned to be a silken cloth,
They wilted, falling to the stones too fast
And they left a rug burn on me,
At the realize of your pass.

It brought back my recollection
Of your closeness to perfection.
I can’t grieve it all when I’m just tending
To my suaved, still burning, soul.
I can’t live when you have died
Because your life’s what made me full.

I was swiped across a matchbox
When the sun brought forth the dawn
Because I saw your roses blooming,
Though you have long been gone.

- And so it was that time stood still -
     (blink, breathe, stand, fight)

littlewing,
Thanks for the reply. So sorry that you know this one, too. Can;t tell if I want to cut the rose bush down or if I want togrow it up and make it perfect. It just hurts so much to see it.....
anyway, back to you.. thank you

Always, Alyssa

Alyssa:

if it helps , when I moved into my house
My gram had roses - I thought of them as precious - so so precious - to think that her hands had tilled the soil that mine did and smelled the same flowers . . .

I added myself to her gardens and wouldnt change that for the world - I know thats what she wanted . . . all I have to do is look at the beauty I kept of her alive . . . and smile

Blessings to you
xxoo

Littlewing,
thank you. Guess I'd beetter keep them living, 'cause I sure was mad when her Sweet Williams that her and I planted together, died.
*grrs and mumbles something about stupid home-movers*
again, thank you.

EA,
Thank you, very much
Glad you enjoyed and felt it.

Always, Alyssa
