I burned the last three poems I wrote;
It was strange to watch the paper curld and be gone - consumed by something without life, but with appetite.
It was my hand writing, my words, good think I copied them first.
I am glad it was three poems. Three is a good number - 3 pigs, 3 sisters, 3 brothers, trilogies, begining, middle, end, GOD, Generator, Overseer, Destroyer.
Always three - Abraham, Ishmael, Issaac; father, son, holy ghost; Ali, Hassan, Hussein. Hills, mountains, breasts; all three points in two dimensions - parabolic fits!
3, 9, 27, 81, 243, 729 ...
ugly, yet elegant -
beautiful, yet base -
three has a middle ground which defies the dichotomy of our lives.

Feeling safe in the middle?
LOL, enjoyed this perspective, majnu.

I was a middle child, though there were more than three. Actually? there WERE three...on each side of me! go figure that one.
