Barefoot
Freedom hits me
with unknown power
while I run barefoot
in the white sand
on a golden shore,
imprinting tracks of joy
for just a fleeting moment.
With a passionate caress
the rhythmic waves
read the secret signs
and store them safely
in the depth of time.
The sun blissfully plays
with the drops of water
splashed into my face
each drop a kiss from You.
Distance doesn’t hurt
I feel the whole world
sings to me of You.
You told the water
to softly kiss my skin,
you told the sun
to rock me on her rays,
you told the sand grains
to caress my bare feet,
you told the breeze
to carry your scent to me.
Love has found its way
into my yearning heart.
We perform life’s dance
in sweetest harmony
dwelling in each other
and in all the elements.
Margherita

You brought back, vividly, wonderful memories of hours spend walking along the sandy shore of the Atlantic coast...How I miss the feel, smell and taste of those sunfilled beaches....Magnificent writing...

Margherita - a most lovely writing. Sand between ones toes on the beach, just beautifully written...

(smiles) Oh Margherita, I just love this, sweet friend, I want to move to the beach soooooo much so I can play in the sand and embrace each sunny day with relaxation and fun! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, guess the mountains will have to do for now, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Margherita, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

You describe barefoot and love so well. I loved the picture as it was just perfect for your words.

How I long to be at the beach ... if it would just stop raining and warm up here.

Hugs, Marti

Margherita,
Oh this is so, so beautiful. How is it you can see the world this way? I yearn to so badly, but I never can...

Margherita:

I dont know if you were speaking of someone special but this sure spoke to me
It reminds me of all the gifts we are bestowed upon us without even realizing it
Made me feel grateful for the rain today you did
Thank you
and what a dream that would be to be on that beach . . .
I miss it

Thank you my friends for reading and "leaving your foot- and heartprints" together with mine on the white sand on that beautiful beach ... it is a great vision of peace and joy to imagine all of us there breathing deeply, enjoying the sun, life, friendship ..... and creativity!
Much love, Margherita
