Am I Wrongly Supposing

By refusing me answers
Am I wrongly supposing
While I remained open
You seem to be closing

By being unresponsive
To everything that I send
What does silence mean
Was it telling me the end

By noticing the changes
Perhaps it was farewell
Where nothing explains
It became so hard to tell

By causing me anguish
Also breaking my heart
Tortuous pain of silence
It is cruelty on your part

Dear Hope I understand. Your words convey so much sadness ... sometimes I think men just can't cope when it comes to decisions and with the excuse of not wanting to hurt, they hurt even more because of the silence.

This I understand. The cruelest of crime that cannot be committed against another...Silence...it is slow, prolonged torture.
