The dreams I have of you Standing out in moonlit sky’s Soaking up the rays of light Like love intoxicating are lives Alas fantasy ends, I reach reality again Where happiness is drained from my soul Like blood dripping from ones heart Into the pit of sorrow and despair What is life without you? A single obeying ordered doom Are minds calling out for change? Anything to run from fate My lasting escape is the dreams in the night Reloading my mind into the world of fools Those that are blinded by there fake realties Hoping for their dreams to come true |

hey all thanks for all the welcome and everything i feel honored im only 17 years of age and go to college to study computering but i find poetry to be something of beauty and passion my male freinds don't really understand me and my poetry they need to open there minds more |

Welcome to Passions! I may only be an occasional visitor, but I am always an amazed one. I'm excited to see you're only 17. I'm 20 on the 21st, and I have a thing for young poets (being one myself). There is an angst that recedes slowly as we age. Not to say it is forgotten, (remembered most vividly by the poetic, in fact) but pain is MUCH more clearly communicated, the fresher the wound...
