"There is no such thing as love."
White words on the black of slate.
"There is nothing up above
but element and birdy waste."

"There is nothing you can do."
so I parsed the sentence sane.
"There is nothing down below
but backs of those you've loved and slain."

"All your tears are saline drip."
A chemist dreams of just a drop.
"Oh, I want no part of this..."
but would not ask for him to stop.

something rages in my skin
the "I" within
the midst of sin
something quietly forgives

and not once did he ask my name...

I felt it and I failed the class.

Eloquently expressed pain.  Ken

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light

give your self a break, baby

this is a vast gray plain you ride
it WILL be boring

but on the other side
is
oasis

a "working -out" poem
at its keenest

These lines are amazing.
