In this room it seems too quiet to think
Through my eyes I feel the time as it passes right in front of me
I wish I could grab it and keep it in my hands so that I could control what happens
Everyone's too young, too fragile and innocent
I am too old, too tough and too innocent
It's too late to change that's what I always hear but my heart is still hurting from being so empty
It growls like an empty stomach
Like a fire, it is burning
Reaching out for anything that seems to have meaning
But I can't be desperate and settle for less
Just because time won't give it a rest
I just need a minute to find something worth it and I'll grab it like time and never let it go

Love is when you do things you swore you'd never do
