Beneath disguise, the truth lies.

You cannot escape yourself.

Each step you walk upon the earth
imprints your soul.

Walk carefully,
for others may try to follow.

Do not wallow in the mudflats
of fear and hatred
but instead, be one
who attempts to cleanse
hearts and minds
with showers of love.

Step carefully...for it is a truth,
you can never retrace those steps.

Each step you walk
upon the earth
imprints your soul
upon the face of humanity.

*

May ripples of LOVE
become waves of PEACE

You continually find such timeless expressions of our relationship to earth and people.  Nice job!   Ken

That's the day I go to church!

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Larry, I think you ARE church.

Sue, yes, it's the truth, even if we would hope we could go back and do something over again, we can't. *sigh* Sunday hugs to you, littlewing

If I had known you were preaching I could have stayed home!

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

So you do preach on both Saturday and Sunday!

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

LOL, I NEVER preach!
I just ramble and rant and never learned how to shut up.
Hugs to you, Larry, and hope you are NOT frying in AZ today.

It will only be 106* so all is well. Okay, well it is a little warm. See you at the pool.

Are we saying Larry C. is not human?  And
that is why he can survive a western boil?
Nahhh,  don't think so....

Kacy,  this is a very truthful write.  Much
wisdom within your poem.  Yeah,  those steps
are imprinted, for all to see.
