~~**~~
Hearing love through your fingertips
                                    gently
                                                         whispering
Speaking with tenderness
                             softly
                                                     caressing

Touching soft skin
                      speaking
                                         your touch
More clearly than words
                          revealing to me
                                            so much

Your yearnings and feelings
                                 from deep
                                              within
With fingertips gentle of pressure
                                  gliding
                                            along skin

Without even a word
                     coming from
                                your lips
You are speaking your love so clearly
                             with the voice of
                                                       your fingertips

garysgirl - my, my, one of your best I've read. I like the idea of speaking with fingertips, how sensual, how romantic...

Ethel,
This was a sensual presentation and write!

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Ethel,

Girlfriend,  you got it goin' on with this one. (sorry, that was my first thought and I didn't think you'd mind me stating it like this) This is wonderful...romance must be your middle name!

Startime,
Yes, it is good when we can hear love in
the touch, isn't it? Thank you for liking it.

Thank you, Bill,

Larry,
LOL I hope you liked it? Sounds

Patricia,
LOL  That's quite all right with me for you to
say that. I thought this one was  more
appropriate as a nightime poem. LOL   Thank you for liking it.

Thank you, Sharon. I'm glad that you like it.
I've always thought that actions speak louder
than words.   But, of course, I also like the
words, too...if the actions go along with the words.

Hugs to you

Boy, I wish my fingers could talk like that!

Sometimes I let them do the walking...

You know, through the Yellow Pages?

I know, that was bad...

lol

You know Ethel, your poem made me think about our senses
And how sad it would be, to not be able to actually feel or hear...

I guess you really would have to talk, with your eyes

And with your heart...

Very very touching Ethel!

Oh, and I agree with Patricia...

“You really got it going on with this one!”

lol
