A night with Salome as a baked Alaska


“She’s a whore, you know”
Dogboy remarked
as he examined a hangnail
“It’s what she does”

An absentminded “Uh huh”
drooled slowly from The Worm
as he was too busy composing
a song of love for Lyre and Lute
to be bothered

(And Iggy was left torn
between the checkbook
and the chocolates)

This has got to be the most fascinating take on Salome I've ever read (and I've read a few)
