I burn, exceptionally slowly,
My skin flays and goes red,
The pain, searing agony,
I so wish I was dead.

Left out beneath the circle
Of fire in the day sky,
Abandoned myself at its mercy
And slowly I begin to fry.

I crawl through the asphalt desert,
Forever I want some shade,
So thirsty, so dry,
Of this pain I am affraid.

For days and days I suffer,
My skin it does burn,
"Leave me alone godammit!"
I promise this lesson I shall learn

My white skin it peels off,
And suddenly I am brown,
A transformation of the night,
Now I seem from out of town

Wolf whistles from the women,
I smile, this is certainly a perk,
I wink back and strut the street,
Sun, this was excellent work!
