I want to use color to make me feel better and more like how I want to be
I want my hands to move like they do in my dreams when I'm good at everything
I want to make the sound of pure serenity that only represents what holds true to me
I want to smile and know that you're falling for me

I will never be enough for you, I'm never enough for me

I will never be the one for you, I can't even be number three
They are more important and mean so much to you, I want to be just like them and mean something too

What would it take for you to see whatever it is that others see
Maybe it is my fault for never showing you how I can be

Somebody find me some color, give me dark blues and green
Give me just one sleeping pill and I will paint with the hands from my dreams
I will create what I feel and make it so the world can see

And deep inside I will sing and make pure serenity
The sound will carry to the one I make it for and be lost by those who hear another's truth
It will drowned the inside of your ears and cause your feet to come up from beneath

You will fall and fall hard just like you did to me

Love is when you do things you swore you'd never do
