Duncan’s Train Ride
By Larry Chadwick

Duncan invited Balladeer and LongJohnAg to go on a weekend trip,
And they both laughed at Dunc and said, “Us spend money? Get a grip!”
But Big D knew their style and he was fully prepared,
Quickly he offered the travel at no cost, if they dared.

Oddly enough at the train station they bumped into Magnus, kaile and Cpat Hair
Who were standing at the counter buying each of them their own fare.
So Duncan went to the Ticket Booth to buy as he said he would,
But he only bought one ticket instead of the three they thought he should.

Mag and his guys were eager to see how Duncs group would get by,
They boarded the train and sat where they could watch them try
To travel this route while only using one ticket for all three.
It was a mystery the answer to which they were very anxious to see.

Duncan, Balladeer and LongJohnAg all headed straight for the john,
And patiently waited while all of the passengers finally got on.
The conductor came from seat to seat to claim their tickets to ride,
The toilet door hardly opened as he collected the single ticket from the men with no pride.

Magnus and his group were impressed and determined to do the same upon their return,
But were they shocked when Duncan bought no tickets at all, their minds began to churn.
It was truly entertaining to watch as three men per toilet crowded their way in,
What an odd way to behave, after all they were six fully grown men.

Magnus, kaile and Cpat Hair waited to see exactly how Duncan would finally fair,
When the conductor they thought had knocked they offered their ticket with care.
But it was Duncan who outwitted them all and took their ticket to his toilet stall,
Balladeer and LongJohnAg bowed in awe at their friend who had fooled them all.

Hmmm...I've gone from being portrayed as a drunken pilot to hiding out in bathroom stalls with Balladeer and LongJohn.  I'm definitely going back to drinkin'!

ROTFLMAO at this story! This is great humor.

So sorry kaile, LngJhn, Balladeer, Magnus, Ron. Dunc seems to have got the best of you this time around, but you are all such good sports!

LOL... only thing wrong with this telling Larry is we all know Dunc is too big a porch puppy to try to pull off anything like that..
Come to think of it...Dunc might pull something like that, but the way he works it would have been a ticket for yesterdays train instead of the one he was on... LMAO

Ron,
Thanks for being such a good sport! And you may well be right about Dunc. But that's better than he does being drunk!

Linda,
Well now, thank you for the kind words.

Well, lemme tell ya the REAL story!
(it got to be a little gory)
Dunc, JOhn and I in one small booth
Left little room - and that's the truth!

LongJohn sat on the toilet seat.
I stood there just above. My feet
Were balanced on the plastic rim,
A foot on either side of him.

Duncan squatted on the floor,
His back was pressed against the door.
His face was touching LongJohn's knees..
He could not even breathe with ease.

I have an idiosyncracy..
When I see a pot I have to pee!!
But neither jerk would let me unzip.
I had to hold it the whole darn trip!

To releive the pressure just a bit
I passed some gas..they threw a fit!!!
Dunc almost died, I have no doubt..
John held his breath till he passed out.

The whole scene was a sticky wicket
But, finally, Dunc used the ticket
And we got out....but let me say
Next time, my friends, I'd rather pay!!!
