The Maker's Hand

I took a walk today,
amid the dewy trees.
There i felt the Maker's hand,
in the caress of the breeze.

And, one time, I climbed
along a lonesome, craggy peak.
There I heard the Hand of God,
in the lonely eagle's shriek.

Once I strolled in a quiet vale,
where a little stream did run.
Again I saw the Creator's hand,
in the waking of the sun.

And when I think of that Mighty Hand
that raised from death a Lamb,
I cannot help but dream of the day
that it alights on me again.

This doesn't fit your name, sadpoet, for it is an extremely uplifting poem.  Thank you so much for sharing this deeply felt emotion with us...
