Solitary swift soars effortlessly like a speck, in a firmament of mauve clouds.

Long faded blue clouds, float in the distance, like tropical islands.

The wind whispers through the leaves, slowly getting colder as summer counts down.

Jet planes break the hush and pass by the burnished copper and amber remnants of the setting sun.

Echoing calls of songbirds, pay homage to the day and ascend high above the trees and houses, into the slowly drawn curtain of night.

Dark and silver blue sky, signals the begining of twilight.Smoky black clouds pass by the moon, rolling slowly by.

Stars flicker like fireflies, markers of our time and place in the universe, the life of planets seem immortal.

What may tommorow bring? a new and eventful day? The world turns slowly, but our lives are less than a flicker of a star, in the full nature of the cosmos.

Time so precious, so little...

It is a wonder how you create such magic with your fingertips.  I can't help but comment on every poem of yours that I see.  I'm simply hooked.  You've made a die hard fan out of me.

Wonderfully thought provoking.  Reminds me to make the most of the time we have here.  Every day is a new opportunity to do such.

Beautiful imagery, and with words to make the imagination soar.
Very nice.
