standing on a shadow's lace

Remains

standing by
the charred
mark
no smoke
carried by
the wind
I touched
the ashes
just memory
of where
sweet fire
had been

this is nicely put h,
and from the ashes,
one emerges as a new phoenix,
to bring more memories,
as the wings span wide,
to reach out.

A smile a day keeps the world in smile's.
