Two Worlds Together Brought

I am two worlds apart from he,
but comfort calls me there.
I test the silver strings of hope
in oddness that we share.
I light a candle, scented mine
to stave the dark, its hold.
I've packed them up, companions to
the loneliness, I bold.

Inventive words add to my mind
when trying, lips to sound.
A trip around my tongue to take,
the taste in feedback drowned
In memories to take me where
I wish in moments reach.
Preparing packaged, me to ship
in thoughts of rhyming speech.

I play the game of "Ring-A-Round"
and still I lack their touch,
those from hands that feel the more,
vibrations telling much.
A hundred times I've chosen he,
resulting in the chase.
The capture had, the kill not yet,
for still I'm out of place.

But morrow comes, and distance trails
and further lines will pave
and trace the time in memories
while coasting towards the wave
where friendship, waiting patiently
in breeze of gentle thought
will cross the air in words of kind.
Two worlds together brought.

The sun has risen, chosen this
so far a day to shine.
The temporary rain on hold,
the Spring in its decline.
A combination write of words that
temper how I feel.
This morning bright, anticipates
the right with all that's real.

It's supposed to rain again here for the next few afternoons but hey..

Tomorrow's the day I meet up with Lori.
So the rain can't hurt my mood for now.

Thanks Martie. I am sure we both will have fun.

Good morning Bernie. Tomorrow
can't come fast enough for me...just wish I could snap my fingers and be there without having to drive.
