Gleaming midst the green of forest
Secret in the woods mature
Tall as childhood remembers
Through the seasons to endure

Rung by rung a little nearer
Stepping up to see the sights
Touching high growth, seeing clearer
All around from dizzied heights

Smiles broken at the offset
As the ones of long ago
Tall the feeling comes to claim me
Come to grips with trips below

In the thought of slickly going
Body set and ready…go
That awaits, the journey knowing
Whisked away of all I know

Gleaming mighty in the forest
Secrets brought into the light
Tall as childhood remembers
Sped away too fast all right

TD,

This is wonderful.  You know, I have a 4 year old little girl who is extemely active.  We go to the park and she wants mama to swing and slide with her.  Sometimes I am tired and just want to be the spectator, but she has a way of prodding (nice word for nagging, LOL) but I have some fun, girl!  I get to relive my childhood with my playmate, my own little, Macy girl. What is so funny is she looks just like me when I was little and she is one heck of a ball of energy.  So, it is kind of like playing with the child me.  Make sense?  We have the grandest times.  Have to wonder who has more fun, Macy or Mama???

Your words are always so perfect.
