Soft and Sweet

Long black
silky hair
hangs down her
back soft and sweet
covering the rise
of her luscious
round cheeks.

Between her thighs
go my hungry eyes.
Ravishingly desirable.
The place where a
man and a woman meet.
Sensually lovely.
Soft and sweet.

I'm
gonna
get her.
Believe me I am.
If I don't get her.
Call me one sad man.

Well, James there's no one here that could say you're bashful......He he My only advice would be to explain to her that you don't mean this in the image of treating her like a sex object.
But that's just my take on it and I'm wrong a lot!

JamesMichael...I was taken by the first stanzas as you describe the long, black hair and your attraction to this woman of beauty. But as Eric mentioned what you implied in the second stanza made me feel the same way as he...like this woman was only a sexual object that you were stalking like a sexual predator. I don't know if this is what you were going for; but, in my opinion, sometimes saying less is more. ***Ivy Rose

James you know I love your writings...but I wonder what else you would write about if not for women?

Thank you ethome, Ivy and passing shadows for responding...I suppose I am guilty as charged...women get to me...
passing shadows women are definately my favorite subject when I write...I did a little survey...went back about 20 poems and the subjects were passionate nights with a woman, desiring women, breaking up with women, tender moments with women, missing a women, making love with a woman, women that say they love you, the list goes on.  I did find a few that were on other subjects such as, Favorite Flavors which is about feeling sorry for yourself, Jesus Is Alive obviously about Jesus, Lonely Tonight (in dark) which is about feeling lonely, Fox News (In Passion In Prose) about weapons of mass destruction, A Lack Of Me about leaving this world and Long Beach Friends about my friends Hector, Cappie and Candy although the subject about Cappie is kissing.  So six out of twenty.  I suppose these are what I would write about if I wasn't always writing about women...but what do you think are the chances of that?   James
