As the radio plays
my yesterdays,
I reminisce,
of days I miss,
Fireflies in twilight's glow,
A drive-in movie picture show,
Kick the can and hide and seek,
Catching crawdads in Slate creek,
Junior High and going steady,
Chubby Checker did "The Freddie,"
Grownups talking on the lawn,
Paper route all done by dawn.
Those time are past,
Some things don't last,
Except for when I turn the dial,
Close my eyes for just a while,
And let the music carry me,
Back to a time that used to be.

Gads...KRLA....you know why I loved that station?  My initials and the city of my birth...

You brought back a lot of memories, Tim...and this is a good thing...

thank you.
