Eighty thousand wheels of hot rubber
under forty thousand tanks of gasoline
lined systematically with HD reverence-
God-like and Demonic used in the same breath,
heavy metal creatures vibrating leather thighs on gel seats
makes the old ladies gasp and pray twice
on Sundays.

You can't beat that.

And for a split second I wished a spit-shined and chrome row
might suffer the domino syndrome just to see some sparks fly.

From a discreet vantage point
I would be watching from my bike
ready to tear off if they catch sight
of my Honda-Shadow-Ace-Deluxe grin
(but I won't mention any names) behind my Icicles.

It brings new meaning to a cold day in Hell.

There is something essentially orgasmic
in having a deathwish, an inner child fulfillment
or I don't want to live to see tomorrow.

Maybe I just beat that
and York will never be the same.

Hello Bill and thank you for reading.
I am a sporatic poster. I must correct that.

the_loner_23-- You're very kind.
