I searched for the moon
yet he was hidden in cloud
I tried to cry
but was too proud
I ached for beaches....
that belonged to yesterday
heard the words once more
that I didn’t say
echoes from memories
on shores I can no longer walk
conversations with ghosts
in reminiscent talk
they speak to me softly
now only in dream
soul awakens
inside muffled scream
interpretation, with waking eyes
regret is a shadow
that sunlight denies.....

(big hugggssssssss) Well...it's his loss, and you deserve to deny all that for you are a sunbeam and only deserve what is bright for you! (sigh) Look for the light and that is where the truth shall set you free, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Susan, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Sea.........seems my day has been full of regrets....and now that the sun has set on the day, the shadow has overpowered any sparkle that existed in my day.  I guess we all have days like this but mine are so very few and far between the darkness is suffocating.

A powerful read my friend.

many blessings

Susan,
No rust in your word processor! It's hard to stop loving what you do so well. As if I'd try. You do touch my life in an important way...but less seldom it seems.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

SEA,
regret is a shadow
that sunlight denies.....

Oh, so true.

I don't allow regrets to enter my mind
For in mind of regret no lessons to find.

I try to look upon past events as lessons learned.

I love your writing!
