I sensed while I was passing the roses by the way, a quiet, gentle movement the blossom amid sway. I heard the subtle whisper of it's scent as it was borne upon the flowered breeze, that comes with dawn of morn. A subtle communication softly spoken, and then sent wafting by me gently, then upon the air it went. The fragrance a sweet balm, so I garnered a bit of calm. WhiteRose 05/27/03 |

Anne, you write the most beautiful poetry. Not only did you paint the pretty colors in this one, you also put the sound to it... and the scent......Just absolutely beautiful. Thank you M, I too hope the calm finds a home within my heart. Serenity, what is a moment really, if not to be shared amongst friends.  QJQ, thank you kind sir, for your very nice response. Shirl, they are my favorite as well. What would this world be without the beauty of the rose?  Thank you sweet Noah, I've missed your warm and thoughtful responses. It's nice to be home again.
