Ghazal...ing

I wake to thoughts of you and shadow's light.
Morning flecks of memory dance in the light.

I wonder if and when the push will fight.
The inner me will rise before day's light.

I step on words whose meanings color bright.
My pictured past of you that lifts me light.

I watch how you have changed my world of white.
The reddish tint of blush on my skin, light.

I take the hints behind, and hold them tight.
In mind of need, that presses, irons light.

The wrinkles of a life in hurtful spite.
Becoming one in touch of tender, light.

I brush away the "must of old" in write.
And dwell upon the you in morning light.

Thank You PG... I had to go to Biki's site just to hope I was on the right track.

Hey Ron, You do rhyme pretty good...or is that well?
I like free verse but I do whatever it is my mind and fingers tell me to do and it is raining so hard today...I thought a little Ghazaling would match the boringness of this May

thanks

ah..rainy days can be a bore at times... today..we have sunshine and a few clouds. showers through this morning have ended and it should be beautiful afternoon. Now... since I am stuck in the office..it might as well be raining here for all the enjoyment I'll ge out of the weather..lol

sounds like a good day to make tea and scones, curl up on the couch with a good book and just let the words carry you away.
I so used to enjoy reading an old mystery novel on rainy days...do a bit of cooking... and just listen to the sounds of water dripping off the leaves and roof... hmmmm...
reminds me of a time...but I'd have to save that one for mature.. LOL

enjoy your day my friend... rain and all..it belongs to you..

hey pretty soon we will need an ark...and where is Noah when you need him

I am force-fitting today...my next poem out of boredom...this is definitely when you wish you had another to snuggle with under the covers.
