Wash me into silence
Blend me see through ocean spray
Blotted as the raindrops
Into earth soaked clear away
Parson me to molecules
Split into the sea
Wash me into silence
Drain the tank and let me be

Let me be invisible
Melt me into glass
Crystal on the mantle
Move away and let me pass
Separate the forming
Leave the mirror clear
Wash me into silence
Leave me be and let me hear

Leave me in the background
Subtly and out of sight
Simple and lackluster
Just a glow within the light
Leave me to the stillness
Absent watercolor tinge
Leave me on the window
Clear the fire and the singe

Clear to be for certain
Silent to be seen
The sheer and not the curtain
Lift me from all opaque sheen
Take me out of your reflection
Drain away the day’s fine art
Wash me into silence
Quietly to be my part

Not a bad depiction of being absent of
color....What would we do if everything were
black and white or gray and some other gray?

No wonder the dogs howl at the moon...

Huhhh???

Nodding and smiling at this piece. Wonderfully written. Chris

TD,

I have a funny feeling should your flesh disappear,
You would still leave your diamond shine upon this earth so clear.
But oh, imagine the sights you would see and the treasures you would hear
If only for an hour your flesh could disappear!

You are truly an exquisite solitaire.
You shine bright today and always.
-Patricia
