Panning Gold

I sail a river in my dreams
Without a crew or so it seems
Passing shadows on the shore
Under moonlights silver awe

And the wind that fills my sails
Whispers lovely fairy tales
Making music in the lines
Dancing figures of opine.

I hold the ship on steady course
Using very little force
Sailing into awesome skies
Down a rivers wiles and sighs

Yet I know my eyes are closed
And I am sleeping unexposed
Still the dream is full of real
And the pleasure feels ideal.

It’s so that treasure fills my goal
And lends surcease my very soul.

Good afternoon, Mr. T.!

May you sail the rivers of your days as  smoothly and as wondrously as you sail the rivers of your dreams.

This was lovely.

Sweet dreams forevermore...

JM,
Yes I am a tad late, Had a doctors appointment, in fact  had two close together
And I just seem to be running around in circles. But circles can be fun.

You should never sail alone,
C'mon Sy pick up the phone.
