If not the riper be upon the cord
that flames might lick upon the wayward heel
and wagging tongue mightier than thy sword
might give away that which should not reveal.

For when soft words are straight as arrow’s flight
and of the heart the thrusting wound does miss,
a lover’s harp shall break the new day’s light
upon the wait, the grant of torrid kiss.

Though now the ache does come to pass away
and simple things do bring the wound to heal.
A lover’s harp might strum the cherub’s play
and with a kiss, a pact would passions seal.

To live within the bond of mutual trust
will reap the grain before the wagons rust.

(smiles) This spoke to me of a message to lovers for those who try too hard that sometimes the best way to make the love grow is to simply rock steady rather than make a heavy go at it! (big hugggsssssssss) This is a splendid Shakespearean sonnet, dearest friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
