Visiting Earth on a Guest Pass

0 posted 2003-05-26 06:51 PM

Spirit Oath

when the days
of me become
forever

when the
dust
of me
the
tenuous
scatter
of the atoms
I have been

melds back
into the silent
mass of earth

when my
spirit travels
through the
crystal lattice
of the times
the places
I have been

wedded then
with spirits
I have joined
in living

even then
I choose you
if a choosing
can be taken
hover in
our times
our places
feel again
our loving
and our love
the soul of it

and I will
follow
you into
whatever lies
beyond

That is the spirit, and such a heartfelt dedication to the one you love,  and all that inspires you.  I especially enjoyed the simplicity that carries over.  Nice~

That sure sounds like a love song to me.
Very nicely penned!

Ed...Emotive and full of love.  I think you have found your soul mate and the forever kind of real.

Oh Ed,

You just opened up the tear canals again.  The last one, your lady in yellow chiffon, soothed me and dried my tears.  Now, here come the tears in full force. This is exquisite.

what a perfect way of saying beyond forever.

Thank you for directing me to this.
