Upon the rise of clearest moon
as stars do rest within the hue.
Fair maidens sigh the wanted knight
before the wage of battle’s due.

A tune shall float the vaulted hall
and through the courtyard windows high.
Where drink shall wet the dry of tongue
and bring to breast the wanting sigh.

And as the dance does bring the smile
upon the faces warriors bold.
A sentinel shall guard the gate
throughout the night in chilling cold.

For in the darkness where unseen
there lies the foe in wait to kill.
Where archers wax the bow and string
and fluff the feathers of their quill.

Fires shall bubble and boil the oils
of massive pots in wait the skin.
To spurn the ladders reaching high
from far below the warring men.

And when the smoke does clear the view
a castle’s stone shall broken lie.
As battles waged were lost by one
as maids in waiting softly cry.

And as the dance does bring the smile
upon the faces warriors bold.
A sentinel shall guard the gate
throughout the night in chilling cold.

Sometimes those shared smiles are all for not, and the battle rages on!

This slyle suits you so well Barry~
and the feelings within are wonderfully vivid.

(sigh) But with their chivalry and largesse, the knights have given so much more life than ever thought possible, with their maidens safe and healthy! (big hugggsssssss) By the code and fellowship of the knighthood, the love of them all holds true to their hearts forever, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
