Constructive critism is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Cation

Your heart is molten
Like the quizzical core of Earth
That your magnetism rivals
(At least science can explain why you draw me)

Your eyes are like quicksand
Like suction to my mind
I try to float and not struggle
(Like they say in outdoor survival guides)

Your thoughts are like a chocolate ocean
Deep enough to drown in
I almost did
(But sanity’s lifeguard rescued me)

Concisely, you’re captivating
And even if I didn’t love you
I would die still drifting around your soul

Eminor_Angel,
I liked this!
And:

"And even if I didn’t love you
I would die still drifting around your soul"

These two lines took my breath away. I shall let this play in my mind for a while, if you don't mind

     Welcome to PIP!!!

"Your eyes are like quicksand
like suction to my mind."

--fabulous line! I know whereof  you speak!
But thankfully,

"sanity's lifeguard rescued me..."

Welcome to Passions!

Warm, welcoming hugs,
Earth Angel
