You told me to trace you
I followed your ways
You told me to be you
I looked past everything

I gave up everything
To be your puppet
And now I have nothing
Nothing to look back on

The pool that drowns me
Deep inside my heart
The pool that takes my feeling
And sufficates it away

Just how can I retrace
The feeble steps I took
I can't look at myself the same
I'm no longer who I was

Your words dig under my skin
And spread it all across
Your words dig into my hands
I can't keep a firm grip anymore

I never wanted to let go
I never wanted to give in
You made me what I was
You make me into nothing

And nothing I remain

No way is the character in this write "nothing"! A lesson well learned,
the truth expressed, the facts down pat,
this sings a song of victory and brings forth the the absolute "SOMETHING" out of a seemingly "nothing"!

Blessings!

Till oceans cease to flow and deserts lose their sands, may beauty surround you every day and wealth be in your hands.
