they contain the same
salt
that all other tears
contained
but these are somehow
different
than previously have
rained

cheek tracks wet with pain
fading
slowly away
replaced with
inspiration
now my tears
are shed
in relief
and not
in desperation

I am so happy for you that the tears are now from relief and not desperation!

I can't take all the credit...there were two words in a reply to Serenity that screamed to be included in a poem so she is my inspiration for this. I thank you so much for reading and replying.

Relief is so much better than tears of pain or desperation.

Sharon, this is a very good poem. If there are
tears shed, it's much better  they are from
relief and not from pain and desperation.
Hugs,
Ethel
